The Hords have been serving at Kilgore First Church since June of 2021. Ashley grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999 with a degree in elementary education. Ashley was called to be a missionary of the gospel of Jesus Christ to Botswana, Africa in 2004 where he met Tracey.

Tracey was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa. She was saved at a young age and was called to be a missionary at the age of 15. After attending Bible college in South Africa, she was a traveling missionary to several countries in the Southern African region. In 2004 she moved to Botswana to work for Love Botswana Outreach Mission. 

Ashley and Tracey married April 30, 2005 in Zimbabwe and moved to the Houston area in 2006 where they had their three children Esther, Joseph and Hannah. They served at The Crossing Church of the Nazarene where Tracey was youth pastor for three years. In February of 2016 they moved to Lesotho, Africa where they served as Nazarene Missionaries for five years.  The couple were called to pursue ministerial credentials in 2018 and began taking classes with Nazarene Bible College. They both hold a district ministerial license with Northeast Texas district and love being with the people of Kilgore Church of the Nazarene and the Kilgore Community.
