Join us as we venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. Kids will anchor in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. We will be exploring the island nightly July 30-August 3 from 6-8:30pm. Kids who are registered by July 22 will receive a special gift the first night they attend VBS, Registration is available online at:

We are also in need of volunteers!  Volunteers need to be registered by Sunday, July 15 so that we can plan appropriately for the number of workers we’ll have available. Sale of Dudley Property
The proposal to sale our Dudley Road property to the
City of Kilgore passed with 28 Yes votes and one No vote.

NazSafe Training
Today at 3:30 we will be holding a NazSafe Training. Anyone on a board/committee or works with children/youth is required to take this training. Pastor Powell would ideally like
everyone to attend this session so that they are informed and aware. Please bring finger foods to share afterwards for a time of fellowship.
 
Ladies’ Night
Ladies Night will be Thursday, June 28 from 6-8PM at Connie Friesen's house. Since 4th of July is coming up, the theme is Red, White & Blue! We're asking everyone to please bring finger foods! Please contact Didi Henderson with any questions.

Sunday, April 15, at 5:00 pm, our children’s department quiz team is hosting a fundraiser and challenging our adults to a quiz off! The subject will be the book of Matthew. Faith Promise
This year we will be hosting the Mullin family. On February 3, there will be a meet & greet from 2-4 pm. We are inviting churches from our zone to join us for this time
of fellowship. Sunday, February 4, Joel Mullin will be speaking as part of our
Faith Promise service.

Sanctity of Life
Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This day was created as an act of love in response to the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court to legalize abortion in the United States.  The Bible tells us that we are created & purposed from our mother's womb, but the dignity of life goes so far beyond that. We are called to be voices & advocates for all life,
& especially for those who cannot speak for themselves. When we choose to see people as God does, we are moved to love others in a way that honors our creator. Being pro-life is a worldview -a life view- that should transcend culture, class, race, age & opinion.
