Missions

Saving energy 1 Bulb at a time! 
We are taking donations to help buy light bulbs for Africa Nazarene
University to help cut their electricity bill. These bulbs are $10.00 each. Our goal is $6oo. We will give this to Rob North when he is our speaker on Sunday, November 5. You can see how we are progressing towards our goal by looking at the poster at the
front of the sanctuary.

Sunday School

SDMI Meeting
There will be an Sunday School Board meeting on Sunday, October 1 at 4:00 pm. We will be discussing Trunk or Treat. We need all SDMI board members to be there!
 
Trunk or Treat
Our Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up at the end of October and we need help! We had over 200 people come last year. This year we expect even more people and are wanting to increase the number of trunks, games, and activities available! Trunk or Treat will be held Sunday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm. We hope to see lots of
costumed kiddos and of course you! Below are ways you can help us make
this a successful event!
 
Candy Donations
We need donations of various types of candy. There will be a box in the
foyer to drop off your donations.
 
Trunks
We need people willing to get festive and decorate their trunks! You can choose
any theme you wish as long as it is not gory and kid appropriate. Plus, if you like
dressing up for Halloween, this is a great reason to! If you need help
finding ideas let us know!
 
Volunteers
No matter your abilities, skills, or limitations there is a volunteer opportunity for
everyone! We need volunteers for everything from running games, to greeting people, to people who can monitor the church for us. Everyone can help! If you have questions, please see Carolyn Wesson.
 
Invite People
We need our church family to invite everyone they can to join us for the special event. We have Trunk or Treat as an event on our Facebook page that you can share and invite your friends. We will have flyers that can be passed out to invite people. Then there’s always the old school approach of simply asking people to come!
