Church Events​

NMI Meeting
There will be an NMI Council meeting today at 4:00pm.
 
T-Shirts
Today is THE LAST DAY to order your church shirt. You can order now and pay when they come in. The church is paying for a portion of each shirt so they only cost you $10 each.
 

Mission Lesson
October 22, there will be a Mission Lesson beginning at 6:00pm at the home of  Sharron Westbrook. Please bring finger foods and come enjoy the fellowship!
 
Helping Hands
Helping Hands are in need of the basics; peanut butter, canned goods and items for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. There will be a box in foyer for donations.
 
Saving energy 1 Bulb at a time! 
We are taking donations to help buy light bulbs for Africa Nazarene University to help cut their electricity bill. These bulbs are $10.00 each. Our goal is $6oo. We will present to
Rob North when he is our speaker on Sunday, November 5.
 
Trunk or Treat
Our Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up and we need help! We had over 200 people come last year. This year we expect even more people and are wanting to increase the number of trunks, games, and activities available! Trunk or Treat will be held Sunday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm. On the next page are ways you can help! If you have any questions about Trunk or Treat please see Connie Friesen or Carolyn Wesson.
 
Candy/Baked Goods Donations
We need donations of various types of candy to pass out. We also need cookies and cupcakes for our Monster Munchie March (cake walk). Containers will be available in the
foyer to package your baked goods for Trunk or Treat.
 
Trunks
We need people willing to get festive and decorate their trunks! You can choose any theme you wish as long as it is not gory and it is kid appropriate. Plus, if you like dressing up for Halloween, this is a great reason to do so! If you need help finding ideas let us know!
WE NEED TO KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU PLAN TO DECORATE A TRUNK. This will help us plan our set up and traffic flow.
 
Volunteers
No matter your abilities, skills, or limitations there is a volunteer opportunity for everyone! We need volunteers for everything from running games, to greeting people, to people who can monitor the church for us.Everyone can help!
 
Invite People
We need our church family to invite everyone they can to join us for the special event. We have Trunk or Treat as an event on our Face book page that you can share and invite your friends. We will have flyers that can be passed out to invite people.  If you need extra flyers, please let us know and we will print more for you.
