Today we will have our annual Hanging of the Greens service. Decorating for Christmas We will decorate the church for Christmas following the service today. Christmas Parade Reception We will host our annual Parade Reception on Tuesday, November 27. Sign up sheets for cookies and hot chocolate are in the foyer. We will need about 50 dozen cookies. Christmas Potluck Dinner We will have our annual Church Christmas Potluck Dinner on Sunday, December 16. You are encouraged to wear a Christmas sweater—pretty or ugly—for this time of fellowship! Helping Hands During the holidays season Helping Hands is looking to Collect the following non-perishable items:: dressing mixes, cake mixes, frosting, pie fillings, cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and soda, salt, sugar, powdered milk, dry beans, peas, rice, green beans, yams, cranberry sauce, corn, black-eyed peas, and tomato sauce. Alabaster Offering goes towards purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers. 40 Days of Faithfulness August 19-September 30 I pledge to trust God to be faithful and will demonstrate that trust by increasing my faithfulness in: Tithing, Prayer, and Scripture.
