Heart to Heart Volunteer Card

Don't forget to volunteer to be a Greeter or a Caretaker as part of our Heart to Heart initiative. If you need a volunteer card to fill out, please let us know and we will make sure you get one!

Greeters and Caretaker's have slightly different tasks, but the same goal. We want visitors to know we care and that our kindness and warmth is more than just on the surface. Neither of these roles is something that takes a lot of time, but it can make a world of difference to our guests!

Greeters jobs begin when a guest arrives. Greeters are tasked with being a friendly face. You can invite guests to sit with you and perhaps even to go out for lunch. We don't want our guests to feel smothered, but we do want them to know we truly care and are glad they joined us!

Caretakers follow up later in the week. Whether it be a visit to the person's home, a handwritten note to say we're so glad you came or even a phone call. Staying in touch with our guests lets them know we look forward to seeing them again!
