Dear Disciple Makers (Church),
Thank you so much for your leadership. You are a blessing to me,
my family, and the church. When I see you it brings me joy.
You are the crown of my rejoicing
I believe in you. I believe you want what Christ wants. I believe you want to be a disciple maker. Matthew 28 – “go and make disciples…teaching them to obey everything I have command you.”
Galatians 4:19 says, “My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you…”
Christ in you – that is our hope!!!
It’s the hope of our families, our church, our community, our state, our country, and our world. It’s also the heart and dream of Christ for everyone.
Which would you rather be?

By the 24th year the one-on-one method has brought more people to Jesus than the great evangelist. And the great evangelist is getting mighty tired!
In the 33rd year, by July, 2041, over 8 billion people have come to know Jesus… every person on the face of the earth. The Great Commission has been fulfilled one person at a time.
To reach all 6 billion people who are alive today… the evangelist would have to win 1,000 people every day for 16,438 years, 4 months and 7 days. By July 16th, in the year 18,441 6 billion would be reached. The problem is… his evangelistic efforts would not have even kept up with the exponential growth rate of the world’s population. After all that work… there would be a smaller percentage of Christians in the world than when he began 16,000 years earlier.
Joel 1:3 says, ‘Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation.’
Tell it to your children. That means your biological children, but also can mean your spiritual children, those whom God has birthed into His kingdom through you.
And look at this – God is speaking to Abraham. Genesis 22:17
says, “I will surely bless you and make your descendants as
numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the
seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities
of their enemies, 18 and through your offspring all nations on
earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me."
Then, in Acts, Peter is speaking and look what he says. Acts 3:24 says, "Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.' 26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."
Wow – God has foretold of our day. We are heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ. He has promised to bless us, our offspring, and their offspring. The promise of God to Abraham was that they would be like the stars in the sky, and the sand on the seashore.
Would you cling to that promise? Would you hold on to that and believe with me, that that is in fact what God wants to do here and now with us; with you; with me?
DO YOU BELIEVE? May these days ahead testify to the fact that we’re not sitting on the premises, but ‘Standing on the Promises.’ Believe! Live by faith – assured that God wants to do it.
Heb. 11:6 says, And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
